A Message from The Rev. Gregory G. Perez – President/CEO of Windmill Alliance, Inc.
The Windmill Alliance, Inc. began in 1985 with a commitment and a passion to serve the adult developmentally disabled as well as the poor and those in crisis. Reaching out, sharing, collaborating, and giving is the strength of our organization and makes our work possible. We heart-fully thank individuals, families, civic groups, and agencies, as well as our elected officials who generously work with us for the common good and continuity of our programs.
The Windmill Center:
The Windmill Center is a fully certified “Day Habilitation Program” serving the needs of clients that are not quite ready or prepared for competitive employment. We offer activities that are both age appropriate and skill building. The Center is an approved NJ DDD/ Medicaid provider.
Windmill Center offers a diversified array of Individual Supports, instruction and guidance necessary to build basic problem solving skills, self-help skills, social skills, adaptive skills and daily living skills. These skills are the essential building blocks of a strong foundation for all future outcomes.
Supervised Apartments:
Our Supervised Apartments program provides our adult developmentally disabled residents a safe, comfortable environment with 24 – hour staff in a fully licensed facility.
We strive to assist each resident in acquiring the interpersonal, socialization, and adult daily living skills necessary for successful, integrated community living.
H.I.G.H.W.A.Y.S.:
provides community outreach and support through crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy and referral.
Our thrift shop provides emergency services, food and clothing to those in need.
You can help us to help others through donations of new or gently used clothing, food, or even past treasures. Volunteer and become a friend or a mentor to those less fortunate than yourself.
